Ridgefield School was established on July 16, 1990, in response to the growing need for more preschools in the south. Built beside PAREF Southridge in Hillsborough Subdivision, Ridgefield School was envisioned to be one of the feeder schools for Southridge and PAREF Woodrose, and quickly gained a reputation for its thematic and integrated approach in educating the children.

Ridgefield School provides her students with a holistic curriculum that is supported by engaging activities that touch on areas of interest of the children, and allow them to inquire, to investigate and to interact with open-ended activities and materials, further enriching their learning experiences.
