Academic challenge is balanced with thematic integration and age-appropriate strategies to to foster initiative, responsibility, competence, and autonomy, self-discipline, as well as creativity.

Learning Objectives in areas of:

  • physical knowledge
  • language and literacy
  • logic-math knowledge

are organized in developmental sequence and meaningfully integrated context.

Strategies

  • Structured teacher-initiated activities and routines that provide a healthy experience of demanding and directed learning.
  • Exploration with blocks, playdough, math manipulatives, and the like, through which children discover, hypothesize, pursue plans and problem solve.
  • Books are part of everyday individual and group experience. Reading and writing are meaningfully integrated with ongoing theme studies.
